The Boston Outdoor Artists Group is comprised of artists in the Boston area who meet weekly to sketch and paint in various scenic locations around New England. About The Artist

Michael Emerald has specialized in fine art digital photography since 1980. He recently began working in the applied arts as well, primarily in charcoal and pencil with plans for water color and pastel. He lives in Winchester, MA and can usually be found roaming the New England countryside with his son Nick (14, and an accomplished juggler and photographer) or Triathlon training. Michael Emerald is employed at Longfellow Investment Management Co., a Boston institutional money management firm, as a stock analyst (M&A) and Visual Basic Computer programmer.
